Healthy Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a healthy breakfast food as it has a low glycemic index. It can be served warm with fruit and nuts and a sprinkle of brown sugar if desired. A bowl of oatmeal will keep you full for hours. Another way of preparing oatmeal is by making overnight oats where you will soak the oats in low fat milk over night in the fridge. The flakes will soak up the liquid and become soft.
